Motorman,
I 100% agree. Once thing I have found is that drivers view us as second class citizens. On my ride today to work in the rain with front and rear lights blazing, I was cut off while signaling to move left into the turn lane. When I confronted the individual, he informed me that I was a biker and had no right to be on road and was required to yield to ALL cars. I reminded him it maybe time to review the laws on bikes and cars in regards to traffic laws. I for one will not frequent any St. Louis Park business until they change thier view point on bicycles as a real mode of transportation.

Motorman,
I like this article and am waiting for 2-4. I recently moved back here from front range of Colorado after a 11 year absence and can say that is 11 years, the biking has only gotten better. I am living in S Mpls and commute to 100 and 394 everyday via the streets, Midtown, Kenilworth, and Cedar Lake greenways and am VERY impressed with the ride. We are currently looking for housing in an area that has direct access to the greenways and/or decent riding to my work.
See you out there,
Devin Quince

[...] I ran at the club this evening. It was a great workout. As you know from our bathroom whoas I spend more time at the health club then I should have last fall. Any way I ran 6 miles, good heart rate, good pulse, etc. I am getting ready for my big ski race. As you know I try to ski at least twice a season. [...]

[...] This is a moment to cherish and a major milestone for the motorman household. The room formally known as bathroom can once again proudly retake its title and place among its fellow rooms. For it is with great pleasure to announce that after 54 days without, there is finally a working toilet, sink and shower. It is especially gratifying to welcome shower into our lives, for this was not replaced it is a new permanent element for our enjoyment. [...]

My husband is a crazy lunatic. He laments on and on about how great his "crash" was. And that his helmet should be bronzed and on display in a museum. I quite frankly was mad. I still don't like him riding his bike, mainly because people in cars tend to be jerks. Like the guy from the solid waste company who wanted to take him out at an intersection. Or the guys who shoot bb guns at bicyclists. It annoys me. So I drive him to work at every chance I get. And he's learned to use this against me.
